As for songs about test pilots flying, this tune “tops” them all. Following his success with Footloose in 1984, Kenny knew a good thing movie/soundtrack-wise when he saw/heard it (click here.) Kenny and Danger Zone were also used in the 2022 Top Gun sequel Maverick.
Then, the tune and Kenny were back in the news recently (click here) when the tune was used in a video showing you-know-who dropping a load of you-know-what on protesters. Danger Zone sure gets around doesn’t it?
