After several months of renovations and obtaining all of the permits and approvals to do so, Showtime Deli’s Paulie and Johnathan Gelrud have finally made the move to their new digs located across from Ledo’s. (Former location of Tri County Glass.)
I made the trek there yesterday for the Wednesday Morning Breakfast Club and took this photo upon arriving. Note Brother Gary peeking out the window:
Speaking of movies, this is still my favorite movie/video/song clip.
With Bacharach, David, Newman, Redford and BJ all gone to that movie theater in the sky, guess Katherine is the only one still around.
Note that seeing Butch bopping around with Sundance’s girlfriend in that scene always made me think of this Missionary joke (click here.) (Turns out that Etta was “with” both of them (click here.))
