Johnny Rivers was always one of my main guys back in the day. I still have several of his albums stashed away in the milk crates in my attic. I think my favorite album of his was Slim Slo Rider released in 1970. He included this tune on it. It was written and recorded initially by Lawrence Reynolds who had a hit with it in 1969.
