Today’s Buzzyblog Twofer Tuesday comes to you courtesy of Jay and Emily Tardy who visited Buzzy’s Country Store this past Saturday afternoon with their family.
When Jay introduced himself to me, I informed him that J. was my name too. He asked if Buzzy was my Dad and after I confirmed that he was, Jay told me that his Dad was also nicknamed Buzz. Two sons named Jay/J. and their 2 Dads nicknamed Buzz/Buzzy was too cool a coincidence.
Jay then informed me that he had been coming down to our area from Annapolis since he was a young boy when his dad would bring him down to fish. They would always stop in Buzzy’s to get bait, ice and snacks.
Jay noted that he and his family enjoyed coming down so much that they purchased a boat to keep at Pt. Lookout Marina.
I took this photo of them gathered around the Buzzy bar. Gary Wood managed to sneak in there too. Actually Gary didn’t sneak into the photo because he was seated where he always sits in Buzzy’s.
There are some more Tardy twofers in that Emily and Jay’s daughters are K’s as in Kayla and Kendyl; and their sons are C’s named Chase and Cole. The third C in the photo is Christian who is Kayla’s SO.
