Commercial Break

Who said the Buzzyblog was commercial free? (In fact, the entire blog is just one big, long commercial for Buzzy’s Country Store!)

First up is a great video here from Kathy and her Courtney’s Restaurant Facebook Page:

Bob Crickenberger sat down with Chief Larry and me yesterday to do a Buzzy Podcast on Point Lookout, its history and evolution from a Prison Camp to a State Park. We will have that interview on the Buzzy Podcast in a couple of weeks, so look for it.

Meanwhile, Bob did the following promo for their Timeline Event being held this weekend at Pt. Lookout State Park.

I like song and book titles that contain double meanings e.g. Hidden Figures and Just Desserts . Take Five is my favorite example with the obvious reference to “take five” as in a five minute break. However, the song gets its title from being in 5/4 time meaning that there are 5 beats or notes per bar (Click here). (Note that with very few exceptions, most all rock and roll songs are in 4/4 time (click here.))
