While in the Keys last week, I got to visit one of Florida’s latest landmarks:
Shea and I stopped by to check it out and I took the following photos:
I made the mistake of telling Shea that it looked like Monroe was getting a little too frisky with him. Shea responded accordingly:
Guess it now seems funny to say that the Beatles were a great cover band. Smokey Robinson and the Miracles did this tune first and shortly afterwards it appeared on the Beatles Second Album. It is one of the few Beatles songs where John and George collaborated and harmonized on the lead vocals with Paul as backup. Usually George was relegated to those backup duties.
