Yesterday the Abate folks sponsored a Poker Run which included Buzzy’s Country Store as one of their stops.
For those of you not familiar with how a Poker Run goes down, Chief Larry made this short video as the first couple of bikers rolled into Buzzy’s to pull their card.
Here is Mike’s record of cards that he pulled at the first two stops.
Note – I had planned on taking some additional photos of other Poker Run folks as they rolled into Buzzy’s. However, I got busy behind the counter and had to follow Buzzy’s Rule Number 1 – when people want to give you money, don’t fool around doing anything else, take their money! That mission was accomplished.
When it comes to best Motorcycle Songs , Steppenwolf usually tops the list with their “Born to Be Wild.” However, for my money, Bob tells this great road trip story that from start to finish has a lot more going on than just the basic get-your-motor-running sentiment. He concludes on one of my favorite rock lyrics, the very hopeful “Next time we’ll get it right!” Way to keep it positive Bob!
