NFL training camps have just opened and the first pre-season game is set for next Thursday 6 August. King Football is officially back.
As they have done the previous two seasons, Netflix kicks off things with their Quarterback series profiling 3 or 4 quarterbacks. It is surprisingly good in that it gives a glimpse to behind-the-scenes life of an NFL QB both on and off the field.
This season’s series features one of my all time favorites – Joe Flacco. I like Joe for a number of reasons but mostly because he strikes me as an overall good dude. (The Joe/J name connection doesn’t hurt either.) To give you an example of what kind of guy Joe is (click here.)

Joe is currently the backup QB to Joe Burrows of the Cinncinatti Bengals. The Bengals will play the Ravens twice this year. I’m betting that Joe will see some action in one of those two games against his former team.
