Here’s a bar room bet trivia question for you – name two days when there are no professional sports played in the US. The answer is – the day before and the day after the MLB All Star game.
However, even that’s now gotten a little less precise (click here.) That makes it the perfect bar room bet because even after it’s answered, it can still be argued about! On the subject of bar bets check out his video.
Gives me a good excuse to re-tell this joke which when told to me the teller said “Think of Buzzy as the bar owner in this story.”
A guy goes up to the Buzzy-like bartender and says “I bet you a hundred dollars I can urinate into that ashtray at the end of the bar from here.” The old guy says “You’re on.” Young guy proceeds to urinate a couple of feet down the bar as the old guy laughs and says “I knew you couldn’t do it, now pay up.” Meanwhile a group of guys at a nearby table are all groaning and saying “Oh no!” Old guy bartender asks young guy what’s up and the young guy says “I just bet each of them a $100 that I could come up here and pee on your bar and you would laugh about it.”
I always thought that this song was Bar Room Blitz. Oh well, here it is anyway.
