Seeing Angelina on 60 Minutes last night reminded me of Delores O’Riordan. Here’s why: When Buzzy and I toured Ireland in 2004, a big, front page story in their newspapers and the lead story on their T-V news focused on a trial of Delores O’Riordan. She was the defendant in a lawsuit case brought against her by her former nanny click here for related article. I remember Buzzy asking me “Who the hell is she?” Later in the tour, we rode past her house on a hill somewhere in southern Ireland.
So the other day when I saw this magazine cover (left) about Angelina’s assistant bad mouthing her, it reminded me of the above. However, with the attention span of a gnat, I didn’t think anymore about it until I saw Angelina last night. Here’s a video of Delores when she was lead singer with the Cranberries. Reminds me of my daughter Reagan and her thing for butterflies.
Then there’s that other Temptations’s song titled Just My Imagination. Here’s the Stones’ version with a part midway in it that always makes me laugh. See if you can find it.
