Don’t know for sure if it coincided with all the hot weather that we’ve been having, but I had a visitor from Hell in Buzzy’s Country Store over the weekend. Make that Hell, Michigan. Seemed a pleasant enough individual so I did some noodling around and found the following USAToday article. Excerpt follows on one of Hell’s main attractions – a country store:

Hell Country Store and Spirits
Stroll through Hell’s downtown area and stop in at the Hell Country Store and Spirits (no website; 4045 Patterson Lake Rd., Hell; 734-878-3129). The store offers snacks and drinks, but arguably the bigger draw is the town’s official United States Post Office housed there. You can purchase and mail your postcards from the store’s post office to have your card postmarked, literally, from Hell. The Hell Country Store also plays host to a National Weather Service Observation Station, so you can see what the weather is like in Hell.
