Each August Brady and I do a baseball tour usually to a city/stadium that we haven’t been to. However, this year marked our first return trip to two teams’ stadiums that have been re-built. We had been to old Yankee Stadium and Shea Stadium several years ago but re-visited both of the new parks this year.
While Yankee Stadium is still named Yankee Stadium, the Mets have renamed their new stadium Citi Field. (Seems like the trend in stadium names is now skewed towards banks. On our way to New York, we caught the Phillies/Nationals’game in Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Stadium.)

We also sandwiched in a Jets’ football game at their new stadium in Jersey (above.) MetLife was a little too “prisony.” Then again, comparing baseball and football is always a tricky effort.
