Having seen the brochure (above) advertising the boat tour of Smith Island, the couple in Buzzy’s Country Store asked me about it. I explained to them what it involved and then showed them the sign up sheet (right) for the “Buzzy Trip” scheduled for 17 August. When they saw the annotation “BYOB” on the sign up sheet, they noted that “We don’t drink.” I very quickly said, “Then this is probably not the trip that you want to go on.” All of which is a round about way for me to inform you that on Saturday, 17 August there will be a “Buzzy Tour” to Smith Island. Captain Greg Madjeski has arranged for a good discount on the $40 p/p cost, so sign up if you’re interested in taking what should be a very fun trip to Smith Island. (Joe Salvo is having a blue grass event at Pt. Lookout Marina from 3 -7 pm on that day, so after the cruise you can make that too.)
