Courtney, Carbone and Kellam in the News

Southern Maryland This is Living magazine featured Tommy and Julie Courtney’s Restaurant in their June edition which is now on line.  You can read that article (click here).

Their November issue (left) which just came out and is now on the stands contains an article on oyster farmers.  (Funny isn’t it how  magazines are always a month or two behind putting their pubs online but when they are first published they are always a month ahead.)    

The article features Paul Kellam and John Carbone who have started up the Pt. Lookout Oyster Company.  Also mentioned are several other oyster farming companies that have recently starting raising and harvesting  oysters in our local waters.  Article does an excellent job describing their efforts so if you don’t want to wait a couple months to read it online, pick up a copy of the magazine.
