“One Night in Buzzy’s” (previous post) led me to the following song/video. (Ironically, I was going to do something oyster-related today anyway.) Obviously, this is not your typical “love and above” “moon and june” pop rock schlock; nor is it your “dog died, truck broke, women left” typical country music song. That said however, I’m not really sure what is being discussed (click here for lyrics.) But do know that it’s the only rock song I can think of to have an “oyster” reference. Plus, it contains the great verse “I get my kicks above the waistline, sunshine.” Enjoy.
Speaking of oysters, which is kind of where I started before taking this side trip to Bangkok, swing by Buzzy’s Country Store later today and we’ll have some for you to nosh on. Some classic cars will also be cruising the Buzzy’s parking lot. After all, you know that Buzzy’s is “no ordinary venue.”
