Tour guide in Aruba drove us around the island in this his “Happy Bus.” He was a very upbeat, positive individual who obviously enjoyed his job and performed it in a very pleasant way. Even though you knew that he’s done this a million times, he still made it seem fresh and fun.
As I slipped him a tip at the end of our trip, I complimented him on what a good job he’d done. Without missing a beat he replied, “In this business, if you don’t like people, I say just stay home.”
