Regarding the Declaration of Independence (previous post) I stumbled upon the following “good luck” story: From http://www.snopes.com/luck/declaration.asp In 2000 the document was again auctioned off and this time purchased by Norman Lear for $8 million. May need to start hitting some flea markets and look for some old paintings.
