As discussed in this Baynet article, the 2018 Southern Maryland Film Festival was recently held in Leonardtown. I scanned the titles of films entered for the Festival and landed on “Kennedy Abell Memories of Leonardtown.” (For a complete listing of films entered in the Festival (click here.)
Kennedy and Al Gough were recently in Buzzy’s Country Store reminiscing about days gone by. I enjoyed hearing them tell all sorts of stories about Leonardtown and its illustrious residents. Thus, when I saw the Film Festival entry about Kennedy, I went looking for it.
I am not completely certain that the following video was the one entered in the Film Festival. However it is worth viewing because it not only features Kennedy talking about Leonardtown but also includes several of his drawings of various places in L’town.
