Funeral today for Judy Raley. She was one of a handful of people I have known about which I can say that I admired, respected and loved her. For her obituary (click here .)

The last two showing my Mom, J. Frank and Peaches with Judy were sent to me from my daughter Ryan in Hawaii. Chris Woodburn had sent them to Ryan and now here they are on the Buzzyblog after going around the world.

Heard this Dire Straits tune the other day and I must warn you – don’t listen to it if you are already feeling down because it will take your sad song and make it sadder. Finding and watching the video bluesed me out even more than I already am. (Please note too that it has nothing to do with Judy other than it sort of fits and sums up my current mood.
But because it’s Halloween and I don’t want to leave you tricked with no treats, here’s a more uplifting tune from some dude by the name of Charles Hardin Holley. Don’t say you never heard of him. This song was released 60 some years ago on 27 Oct 1957 (click here.)
