OK, now that we got that whole turkey business in the rear view, let’s begin to focus on Christmas.
Since Thanksgiving was so late this year, the Christmas season has been shortened from 5 to 4 weeks. This explains why the retailers jump started Christmas shopping even earlier this year because they knew that folks like me don’t really begin to think about Christmas until Turkey Day is done. Once again, the one-day-at-a-time philosophy holds true.
