I was unable to locate the Ryman Auditorium video referenced above but did find the following from Johnny’s T-V show. Story goes that the T-V bubbas asked Johnny not to sing the “Wishing I was stoned” line and change it to “Wishing I was home.” Note how Johnny very pointedly ignored them. All of which now seems a little silly doesn’t it?
