Let the games continue as today and tomorrow the NFL features games to decide who advances to the Championship Round next weekend. Ravens play Texans later today at 4:30 followed this evening with the Packers taking on the Niners. Tomorrow, the Bucs and Lions play the early game at 3:00 and KC/Buffalo cap it off in the nighttime contest.
Last weekend saw 3 of the 6 Wild Card Round games won by the underdogs. This weekend the dogs are barking again as the Packers and Texans are each getting 9.5 points which is a lot for games being played at this time of the season. The point spreads are usually much closer such as tomorrow when the Lions are laying 6 to the Bucs and the Bills only 2.5 as favorites over KC.
As I try to get even with my bookie, who is carrying my significant losses to date, I’ll stay with betting on 3 of the dogs again this week end and take the points. (The only dog I’m passing on is Green Bay at San Fran. I like the Niners giving the 9.5.)
