Six I Fell For You

The Packers’ win over the Cowboys marked the sixth win for them in Jerry World where they have never lost. The Pack first won Super Bowl 45 over the Steelers in 2011 and have since beaten the Cowboys twice in the regular season and three times in the playoffs including this past Sunday nights’ 48-32 drubbing (click here.)

So what’s all that that got to do with the above meme (other than the Pack being on the Stairway and the Boys heading to hell?)

Highway to Hell was AC/DC’s sixth album. This from Wiki:

Highway to Hell was the big hit off the album by that same name. It gained even more fame and notoriety when AC/DC lead singer Bon Scott drank himself to death a few years later (click here.) Guess you could say Highway to Hell really was his swan song.

But speaking of roads and sixes, in Southern Maryland we have Calvert County’s Maryland Highway 506 aka Sixes Road.

And while most folks would associate the number 6 with being half of a dozen, numerologists refer to it as the “love number.”

As for a Buzzy’s Country Store connection, there is this photo taken by my Mom of me when I was six years old and heading off to my first day at St. Michael’s School. Photo was taken in front of the Store with me standing by the road waiting for the bus. Note the old road which was later reconstructed to try and straighten out the turn in front of the Store. Note too the old sign when Dad had his name displayed as C.H. Ridgell. I am not sure of the timeframe when he switched it over to Buzzy’s Country Store.

Guess I should play Highway to Hell for you. However, since I have done so a couple times previously, here instead is something from George Ezra. “Song 6” is the title, but other than that, it does not appear to have anything to do with the number six at all. May have to deep six this one. Lyrics are provided below.
