Today, were she still here with us, my Mom would have turned 93. However, God obviously had other plans for her.
No one will ever love you like your Mother. I don’t know who first said that, but they sure knew what they were talking about.
I will be making a pass through St. Michael’s Cemetery later today to visit with her. Should you be lucky enough to still have your Mom around, why not give her a call and tell her you love her? Stevie would do so. (Note I did not use Stevie’s real name(s) Stevland Hardaway Judkins Morris (click here for the explanation how he became Stevie Wonder. Sounds to me like Stevie’s Mom loved him so much that she kept changing his last name whenever she felt like doing so.)
We will have Mom’s birthday round later at Buzzy’s Country Store as the Orioles play the Mets in a 1 o’clock get away game. And yes, we will have the game on the Buzzy Big Screen, so drop in if you can do so. Meanwhile – call your Mom.
