Having had David Norris play at Buzzy’s Country Store twice in the past couple weeks, it impressed me all the more just how great it is to hear live music. For example, when David did B.W. Stevenson’s “My Maria,” I had to pause and listen as I thought “Man that is a great song. Let’s see if David tries to hit those high notes in the refrain.” Sure enough he did so and it made me smile because it gave me a little charge. Music has that power to move you and live music even more so.
Somewhere in my internetting, I came upon a listing of local music being played in Southern Maryland areas this coming weekend. (Note David playing Coast 2 Coast Seafood Bar in Solomons:
