Ghost Busters II was nowhere near as funny nor as successful as was the original movie. Music-wise, Bobby Brown, who appeared as an actor in the film, did a song for it and that too was nowhere near as good nor as catchy as was the original Ray Parker Jr. Ghostbusters (Who You Gonna Call) tune.
I am not getting political on you here, but my take is that a cameo (1:00 in the video) by a certain then reality T-V star jinxed them. The boy does have a way of screwing up anything he touches. Think Tony Soprano when he said “I’m like King Midas in reverse. Everything I touch turns to shit” (click here.)
