St. Inigoes General Store – Then and Now

Awhile back Tim Blasko’s St. Inigoes General Store made a list of the The Top 16 Things to Do in Southern Maryland (click here.)   (Capt. Phil Langley was #9 and Woodlawn #12.)  

So when Kim Wiley sent me the photo (below) of some folks at St. Inigoes General Store back when it also contained a bar, I did some research on it.  (These photos are on Tim’s Facebook page.)

  1. My great, great Grandfather James R. Hall obtained a liquor license and Oyster House License on May 30, 1867 for some location in “Old St. Inigoes”, I wonder if he ever used it…
