Pam and I just got back from visiting my daughter Ryan in Honolulu where she is finishing up her Master’s Degree in Sports Medicine at the University of Hawaii. Joining us this year was Pam’s cousin Joyce. We did the sights to include a side trip to Maui which was as laid back and nice as everyone has said it is.
Buzzy and I first visited Hawaii and Ryan several years ago and since then I’ve tried to return as often as I can. It’s a killer 10 hour flight to and from there but the time there is well worth it.
My thanks to Jenny for opening every day while I was gone to ensure that the 4 o’clock club could meet as usual. Also, thanks to Terri and Larry for taking care of things later in the days/evenings.
