The start of the World Series tonite reminds me of an incident that played out a couple weeks ago in Buzzy’s Country Store. A guy came in to buy some bait and in talking to him found out he was a Phillies’ fan. (The Phillies had just beaten Cincinnati and were now set to play the Giants.) A Yankees’ fan was also in the Store at the time and the two of them talked about what it would be like to play each other in the World Series. (The Yankees had beaten the Twins and were set to play the Rangers in the next round.) That neither the Yankees nor the Phillies advanced to the World Series, makes me wonder if either of those 2 guys will be watching the game tonite! Guess that’s why they play the game.
