This weekend the Sons of Confederate Veterans (SCV) will hold a ceremony at the Confederate Monument to honor those who died at the Confederate Prison Camp at Point Lookout. The plan is that this will become an annual SCV event.
Ceremony is set for 10:00 Saturday morning and they are expecting a number of folks to attend including their National Commander. If you are out and about Saturday morning, swing by the Confederate Memorial to check things out.
