Tom Kenney: May 17, 1948 – November 29, 2010

My friend Tom Kenney was buried at Arlington this Thursday past and his wife Jean sent me some pictures one of which is above.  Tom and I worked together for a number years on Base and he was a great guy who was a great friend and would always help you out if he could.  Tom taught me the ropes of facilities management when he and I worked to help smooth out the NAVAIR move to Pax back in the late 90’s.  (Plus, I don’t know how many of my about-to-be-wrecks of vehicles he kept on the road for me and my teenage drivers.)
Post retirement we kept in touch at our Tuesday lunches where I’ll miss Tom’s sense of humor and gentle wit.  For Tom’s obituary click here. If you get to Arlington Cemetery, Tom is in section 64  6513.
