It was one of those typical barroom arguments in Buzzy’s Country Store the other night involving which band was better the Allman Brothers or Creedence Clearwater Revival. The Allmans seemed to have been slightly favored by the drunken pollsters in Buzzy’s but I made a strong case for John Fogerty and company. Since I have previously posted a favorite Allman Brothers’ tune (click here) I looked for the following one from CCR. However, the song takes on a whole different meaning with the 9/11 footage that someone has included. I kind of regret stumbling upon it because it took a feel good song and made it a sad one. See what you think but you’re forewarned – it’s going to change your view of the song:
