Couple folks have asked me if Buzzy’s is advertising for kite sales as a tree in front of the store contains a kite-looking apparatus. (As you drive around the County, you’ll see more of these purple sticky traps up in several trees.)
After a little research (click here,) I learned that this is a bug trap that is part of an overall effort to try and eliminate the Emerald Ash Borer click here for Maryland Dept. Of Agriculture information.
While it is a good thing that something is being done to save our ash trees, think the kite explanation has a nicer ring to it.
