My Grandson Shawn turned 6 this past Thursday and celebrated the occasion on three different days. First party was Wednesday night at my house for a cookout. On his actual birthday, he celebrated with his Mom Nickey and friends in Ridge. And then yesterday he caught up with his Great Grandmother for more presents and cupcakes.
Shawn received many nice presents to include his Dad Shea giving him a dirtbike. I’m only semi-comfortable with that as a gift for a 6 year old, but then again maybe I’m just being an old fuddy dud grandfather. (That, or maybe I’m just a little jealous that it upstaged my great gift of a guitar for Shawn! Told him I want 10% of all future royalties he ever receives!)
