| Me, Mike and Buzzy |
James Dean’s died this day in 1955 click here. My awareness of him came thru the Eagles’ song (below.) Back in our “crossroads” days, Mike Raley and I would crank up this tune on the old 8 track and cruise. Even though the song is about Dean and his death, sometimes today when I hear it and I’m in a thinking-too-much frame of mind, it can make me think of Mike and his subsequent stroke re: lines like “too fast to live,” and “bought it sight unseen.” Think I’d rather look back and recall Mike and me partying to it all those years ago.
