I helped my Mom place wreaths and flowers on the grave sites of our relatives at rest in St. Michael’s Cemetery. Not my favorite thing to do, but Mom doesn’t seem to mind doing it, so I accompanied her one day last week.
My brother Steve’s grave site was a little messy as it was slightly sunken in and needs some top soil. Also, his tombstone is still not installed. It upset my Mom a bit and made an already sad visit even a little sadder.
Hope any other Christmas-related chores on my horizon are more uplifting.
