My wife Pam is a member of the Health Share Board which is an organization that provides health care for uninsured adult residents in need in St. Mary’s County. Their annual fund raiser is a Holiday Home tour that takes place Sunday 4 December. (For more info click here.)
This morning we accompanied other Board members and their families and took a preview of this year’s tour down Breton Beach Road. (Yes, that’s the same Breton Beach Road that is the turn off where “my” Breyers Ice Cream sign resides (previous post click here.)
All seven homes on the tour are fantastic and a $50 (tax deductible) donation to Health Share will admit you to all of them. I can’t decide which one I liked best, but the “man cave” basement in Hunter’s Retreat (the Drury House) was very impressive. If you only have time to drop in on one home ($10) check that one out. (Tickets can be purchased the day of the tour at all individual homes.)
