| Buzzy Placing Petition in Wall |
My previous post led me to a video (below) that discusses the wearing of a tallit. The video appears to have been filmed at the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem and reminded me of having visited it with Buzzy in 95. (For more info on the Wall click here.)
The video provides instructions on how to wear the tallit including the cautionary “When swinging it over your shoulder be careful not to smack anyone behind you.” As you can see in the photo of Buzzy above, they gave us tourists little cardboard yamaka’s to wear but no tallises. Maybe they didn’t trust us not to smack someone with it.
