Couple dudes from Annapolis rolled into Buzzy’s Country Store last night after just hitting a deer in their Volvo. It messed their car up pretty good and their radiator was leaking too much for them to continue driving very far. They had been trying to get to the State Park to camp out in their tent but were obviously now in Plan B mode. I called down to Courtney’s and Julie said that they could camp down there until their wives were able to come pick them up and have their car towed. Karen White and Kim McKay did the Good Samaritan thing and helped them get enough water in the car’s radiator and then escorted them down to Courtney’s.
Regarding deer, I’ve previously discussed what a nuisance they are click here. But here’s a You Tube deer story that I recall having a cassette tape of courtesy of Bobby Wright years ago. Little raunchy, as you can see on the freeze frame, but still very funny.
