Article in the Enterprise the other day by Jason Babcock talked about vultures staking out the Wildewood Shopping Center. (Assumption is that those Outback and Cheeseburger in Paradise dumpsters must have some good leftovers.) Reminded me of a Bear Aware program that I saw out in Lake Tahoe where the bears have descended from the mountains into the towns and are rummaging thru trash cans looking for food click here.
Thankfully, in Piney Point all we have to worry about critter-wise is a squirrel or two getting into our trash. Above video is someone’s solution to that problem however.
