Saw an item about Beatles’ ties on my blog friend Toad’s site (click here.) It made me cull through my ties to find the one and only Beatles’ tie that I own. In another life I used to wear ties to work every day but whenever I wore this Beatles’ By the Sea tie, I invariably received comments and compliments on it. (Little aside here. I only wear a tie now if attending a wedding or a funeral. The difference between a wedding and a funeral? “The stiff is upright at the one;” or “You can smell your own flowers at a wedding.”)
On the topic of wedded bliss, my wife Pam did a nice job taking this picture of me sporting my Beatles tie, even if she did comment while doing so “You are such a jerk.” Ah, true love.
