Saturday night in Buzzy’s Country Store a young man who works for National Geographic’s DVD Department discussed some ongoing controversy surrounding their showing tonight a documentary featuring the Navy Seals capture of Bin Laden. He noted that they (National Geo) had received threats over airing the show so close to election day.
As he was discussing this in the Store, I pulled up the National Geo website to see if I could locate their DVD Department. Turns out that there wasn’t a DVD section on the website. When I pulled the website up on the T-V in the Store and asked the young guy where the DVD section was, he was impressed to see their website displayed but admitted “Unfortunately, we don’t yet have our DVD section on the website.” I advised him to go back to his bosses and tell them that if Buzzy’s Country Store could have internet WiFi displaying the National Geographic’s website, then they could certainly have their DVD department on their site.
