My Mom found this Point Lookout Hotel postcard when cleaning out some old files. (Note that the phone number for the hotel is listed as being Great Mills -391-W1. This must have been before the Ridge area was assigned the TR (Triangle) prefix for phone numbers. Massey did a post on this awhile back on her “You Know You’re From St.Mary’s” Facebook. Excerpt below.)
As for the front of the postcard, I like that it encourages folks to “Rest, Swim, Fish and Dine.” The only update I would add would be “Drink.”
