Going on this weekend is a reunion of power boat racers in Solomons as part of the Calvert Marine Museum’s new boat-racing exhibit (for related story click here.) Good quote from one of the events’ organizers: “There are a lot of characters and personalities involved, and their stories, even the unprintable ones, are fascinating.” As I have previously mentioned (click here) back in the day boat racing was a big deal here in the County at various waterfront establishments.
