Clyde Ridgell was in the Store the other day discussing a public boat landing down Fresh Pond Neck Road. (Since it’s in a location close to where some of my relatives reside, I’ll hold off telling you just where it is or was located.)
However, it made me curious about whether or not the County still had it listed as a public landing. I checked out the County’s tourism website (click here.) Twenty sites are mentioned as public landings including Fox Harbor, St. Inigoes (Kitts Point), and Pt. Lookout State Park in the First District. Fresh Pond Neck Road is not on the list. All of which just gives me an excuse to show you this video which I can assure you was not filmed down Fresh Pond Neck Road.
