Here’s the first in a series of photo’s of County businesses that fall in the category I refer to as “Things change, but this is one I’m not too sure about.”
The fabled Dukes Bar in Leonardtown still has its name on the building where it used to be, but it is now the “Cafe Des Artistes,” a fancy French restaurant. “Chez Duke” is my favorite nickname for it and I do have to admit that for places to eat here in the County it’s pretty good. Little pricey but very good.
Still, having said that, I can’t quite get past the past and what it used to be. Every time I drive by I now think “That’s not right.”
