Whenever I stumble upon something a little off-the-wall marketing or fundraising-wise, my first thought is “What was it like to be sitting in the meeting when this idea was first proposed?”
For instance, imagine sitting around a table brainstorming for fund raising ideas and someone comes out with “Have a grid with spaces that people bet on and then have a cow trot around on it and where he poops, whom ever has that space wins.”
