Deer Season

If you awaken this a.m. to all those gunshots ringing through the air, that’s because shotgun season for deer “harvesting” begins today.  (Like the pc way we substitute the word harvest for kill.)  Thus far, according to Maryland’s DNR,  deer harvesting totals are up 26% (click here) over last year’s totals.  Lots of deer out there.  Hopefully, today’s open season will help reduce the number running around even more.
