When Buzzy made the front page of the Washington Post in 2006, the article’s headline read “An Era Fades Away by the Side of the Road.” Always think of that whenever I see references to country stores as being a “dying breed” (in video below.) (Emily Stone also made this comment about her mother’s country store at the end of the Washington Post article.)
That said however, as long as I’m up for it, Buzzy’s Country Store will be around awhile longer. Just enjoy it while we can. No “new” old country stores are opening up anytime soon.
