Finally got a good night’s sleep after learning that Saturday Night Live will at last have a black female cast member (click here for story.) As race issues and concerns go, this one was right up there with fixing the MLK monument quote, changing the Red****s name and Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron’s mom bad mouthing Heisman trophy winner Jameis Winston.   (In case you missed it McCarron’s Mom tweeted the following as she listened to Winston being interviewed following the National Title game Monday night:)

I don’t have a problem with his English but did he have to do the God-thing too!?  

As for post-game interviews, all Winston has to do is watch this from Bull Durham:

But back to SNL, give them credit for how they handled the issue earlier in the year when Kerry Washington was their guest host (click here for SNL video of skit.)

So have to conclude all of this with a racist joke right?
Did you hear that the KKK bought the movie rights to Roots?
They’re going to play it backwards so it has a happy ending.
